ELAINE SUGAR
Biography:
I started drawing and painting as a young child. At the age of twelve I exhibited my work at the annual outdoor exhibition on the Thames Embankment (London, England) where I received my first commercial commission. In Canada I studied colour and design under Renata Realini. My paintings encompass a variety of mediums and I enjoy experimenting with mixed media. I also make hand built pottery. I teach watercolour , composition techniques and colour to adults. My commissions have included murals, jewelry designs, fabric designs and artwork for ladies’ fashion.
