It seems I was born with a pencil in my hand. A life-long artist, interrupted slightly by bringing up my family. I never get bored with creating, be it in painting, working with wood, making paper, sculpture, paper maché or in crafts of all sorts.
I attended the Ontario College of Art and took many other courses in various areas, including 3D art and graphic art. I enjoyed many years as a potter and sculptor.
Over the years my work has mainly been in drawing, using pencil, conté, and some oils. Then I found watercolour and fell in love. I like to work as varied as possible, constantly trying new techniques, new styles, new colour combinations and new kinds of paper.
Now I’m into acrylic pours and loving them Such fun.
