Biography:
Oksana is an emerging young visual artist. She always had a great interest in art and music. She attended the Children’s Music School from 1987-1992, specializing in piano.
Oksana expresses her feelings and perception of the world through bold colours, intriguing geometry and multiple layers of meaning. She gravitates towards expressionism and abstractionism. Oksana uses soft pastel, acrylics and oil. She continues to work on her skills and experiment with different media.
Russian by background, Oksana moved to the U.S. in 2002. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the State University of New York at Albany. Oksana and her family live in Toronto, Canada, since 2008. First as a Patron and then as a Member, Oksana joined NYVA in 2010-2011. Currently, she is a Newsletter Editor/Webmaster for the group.
