Biography:
On retirement I started to paint for the first time and jumped head-first into watercolour and loved it! I continue to learn and be energized in the studio of John Smith and in workshops with many well-known artists.
Acrylic is a new and exciting medium for me, in addition to my first-love, watercolour.
I try to create evocative landscapes and compositions that tell a story about the human condition. When all else fails, my imagination takes over.
I have had the pleasure of participating in juried and non-juried shows at the North York Civic Centre, Todmorden Mills, the Markham Theatre, the Lemonville Community Centre, the Fairlawn Neighborhood Centre Annual Art Show, and the Yonge Street Art Walk.
