Biography:
Josefina Terraza de Latorre (Spanish name) was born in Maella, Zaragoza, Spain.
Her traditional way of painting started on her youth, in France, under Mme Garçonnet, it cover mostly drawing and watercolour and later in Venezuela she had private lessons with a friend of the family, Spanish artists Felix Duarte, it covered oils and drawing.
In Canada, Josephine attended several courses and seminars.
For 14 years, she taught drawing, watercolour and oils with the Parks and Recreation in North York and the Board of Education continuing education. For many years she also painted backstages for the Club Hispano in Toronto.
Today, she is a member of a few clubs. Her paintings can be seeing in Canada, Spain, France, Venezuela, United States, Cuba, Switzerland, Germany and Japan.
