Biography:

Born and raised on a farm in Ontario, Mary is a graduate of the University of Toronto, majoring in geography. This background led to a deep interest in man and his environment.

She has always been intrigued by the portrayal of nature through the medium of watercolour.

With the guidance of instructors Gary Chapman, Pauline Holancin, Jake Mol, Bob Amirault, Jack Reid and John Smith as well as numerous workshops, she has developed a style characterized by clear expression and understanding. Her concept and awareness of the mood of a subject is conveyed to the viewer though her use of composition and colour.

This artist has exhibited in many juried shows and has paintings in private and corporate collections.
