Biography:
Mina was born in Iran. Painting was something she loved to do and started taking professional private classes and after a few years it became a major part of her life.
She moved with her family to Toronto in 1997 and is presently a member of NYVA. She took up art as a hobby while raising her family. She created her own original works with oil and acrylic on canvas. She also has experience with charcoal and pastel. She brings to the viewer the beauty of nature with colourful landscapes, amazing sunsets and magical shapes of water, plants and flowers. She has exhibited in several juried and private shows in Iran which has resulted in selling most of her painting privately.
She enjoys teaching the fundamentals of drawing to youths in an after-school program in Toronto. She teaches and shows them how to be creative and use imagination in order to create a fascinating drawing.
